'Spider-Man' WIP - 2014 - (Drawing)

Here is a WIP drawing of 'Spider-Man' that I'm the process of completing for my my wife's 8 year old cousin who lives in Germany who is an absolute Spider-Man fanatic.

This is my first try at using graphite powder which I have ground down using an old pencil, paint brush and sandpaper. I'm not sure if this is the right type of drawing to start using this method as there is so much small detail. It is good for small bursts of practice though.. As they say... In at the deep end!!
